About Compressed Coco Peat Blocks
The compressed coco peat block is the format most of our export volume moves in. Husk is processed, washed, screened and pressed under quality control into a dense block that expands into a high water-holding growing medium when rehydrated.
Compression is what makes coir economic to ship: a container of blocks becomes many times its volume in usable medium at destination. Washed and unwashed grades and low-EC or high-EC material are produced to order.
Blocks are used by commercial nurseries, greenhouse growers, potting-mix producers, landscapers and soil-conditioning programmes worldwide.
